CAF Player of the favorite, Achraf Hakimi had another remarkable performance to help Paris Saint-Germain return to the summit of the Ligue 1.

The Moroccan captain bagged a brace as PSG pin down Brest away from home on the back of a sublime performance in the UEFA Champions League away at Bayer Leverkusen.

Hakimi scored twice within 10 minutes to give the reigning champions a two-goal lead before the halftime break.

Five minutes after Senny Mayulu forced Rodoslaw Majecki to a save, Hakimi got to the end of Vitinha’s cross to put PSG ahead.

Hakimi doubled the lead five minutes before the break as he powered a shot into the top corner after he received a pass from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Roman Del Castillo missed the chance to bring Brest back into the game as missed from six yards just before the hour mark.

Mason’s Greenwood’s opener wasn’t enough to secure maximum points as Odsonne Edouard and an unfortunate own goal by Benjamin Pavard in the second half gave the host the win extending their unbeaten to five matches.

Mohammed Salisu’s goal in the third minute was just enough to help Monaco secure three points and a clean sheet over Toulouse after the goalless draw against Tottenham in midweek.
