Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi believes new signing Samuel Chukwueze will soon regain his confidence at Craven Cottage.
The Nigerian winger joined the Cottagers on a season-long loan from AC Milan in September, and despite making no starts so far, he registered his first Premier League goal contribution against Bournemouth before the international break.

Iwobi revealed that he and fellow Super Eagles teammate Calvin Bassey have been helping Chukwueze adapt to life in London.
“Calvin and I have played with him for so many years, and he’s able to dribble, beat a player, provide assists, and also get goals himself.
“So what Calvin and I have been doing is just making sure he gets that confidence to go out and express himself, and I’m sure we’ll get the best out of him. It’s sad because people judge players based on stats,” Iwobi explained.
“If you actually watch him play, you’ll see how many chances he creates in a game. They’re not always converted, which is why some people underrate him.”
Chukwueze, Iwobi, and Bassey were all part of the Nigeria squad that recently defeated Lesotho 2-1 in World Cup qualifying.
