Barcelona cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory over a gritty Getafe side at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, despite playing in heavy rain.
The Catalan giants dominated possession from the outset. After a period of frustration, Ferran Torres broke the deadlock in the 14th minute, guiding a stunning Raphinha pass into the net.

Just moments later, the same combination struck again, with Torres finishing low and accurately to double Barcelona’s lead before half-time.
Getafe attempted to get back into the game in the second half and had a few chances to score, but Barcelona’s goalkeeper held firm. The home side then sealed the win with a decisive third goal when substitute Marcus Rashford drove to the byline and cut the ball back for Dani Olmo, who knocked the stuffing out of the visitors with a simple finish. The victory was a well-deserved one for Barcelona, who proved too strong on the day.
