LeBron James has addressed speculation about his friendship with Drake, insisting there’s no bad blood between them despite growing chatter about a possible rift.
Speaking on 360 With Speedy, the Los Angeles Lakers star said his bond with the Canadian rapper remains intact, even if their paths have diverged.
“I’ll always wish him the best,” LeBron said. “Obviously, different places right now, currently. He’s doing his thing, I’m doing mine. But it’s always love for sure.”

The pair have shared a close relationship for years, with Drake often referencing LeBron in his music and even getting tattoos honoring the four-time NBA champion. But the friendship has come under scrutiny in recent months.
LeBron’s public support of Kendrick Lamar — attending his Pop Out concert in Los Angeles during Lamar’s high-profile feud with Drake — sparked speculation of tension. Meanwhile, Drake appeared to distance himself, tweaking lyrics that once praised LeBron, covering a tattoo of the star’s jersey number, and unfollowing him on social media.
Despite those gestures, LeBron avoided direct criticism, instead choosing to highlight mutual respect. His remarks suggest that while the relationship may have cooled, he does not intend to escalate the situation.
