The Saturday fixtures in Ligue 1 produced high drama and a significant shift at the top of the table.

Marseille delivered a dominant 3-0 victory over Brest at the Orange Vélodrome. Goals from English players Angel Gomes and Mason Greenwood, along with a late strike from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, powered Marseille to the win.

This result sees them leapfrog Paris Saint-Germain and move into the top spot in the Ligue 1 table (pending PSG’s Sunday fixture).

The night’s biggest shock came from Monaco, who were soundly beaten 1-4 at home by Lens. The comprehensive defeat halted Monaco’s momentum and allowed Lens to pull level with the league leaders on points, injecting fresh intensity into the title race.

In the final match, Le Havre and Nantes played out a 1-1 draw, a result that helps neither side pull away from the lower half of the table.
