Real Madrid are close to completing the signing of top rated 18 year old defender, Lamini Fati from Leganes.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are on the verge of bringing the 18-year-old into their youth setup.
Los Blancos are close to finalising a deal with Leganes, having already agreed personal terms with the highly-rated prospect.
The teenager caught Real Madrid’s eye with his performance in a friendly between Leganes B and Real Madrid Castilla (B team) in the summer. Fati is expected to initially link up with Real Madrid’s C team or the Under-19 squad, but he could bolster the options for Real Madrid Castilla.
Madrid are set to pay Leganes a £83,000 fee for the defender to move across the Spanish capital.
Although he is regarded as one for the future, Real Madrid view Fati as someone who has the potential to grow into a first-team player.
