Manchester United and Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday evening, as Ruud Van Nistelrooy took charge of his first league game as interim boss.

In a game of fine margins, Bruno Fernandes’ penalty was canceled out by a beautiful Moises Caicedo strike.

Manchester United player ratings

Andre Onana: 6/10 – Distribution put teammates under pressure at times, and could do nothing about the goal

Diogo Dalot: 6/10 – Had a tough time keeping Neto under wrap, but grew as the game went on.

Matthijs de Ligt: 7/10 – Solid enough defensively, and kept Jackson quiet.

Alejandro Garnacho: 6/10 – Smashed a decent chance over late on

Rasmus Hojlund: 7/10 – Ran himself into the ground, and won the penalty for his side.

Chelsea player ratings

Robert Sanchez: 4/10 – Bad and unnecessary mistake to take down Hojlund for the penalty kick.

Malo Gusto: 4/10 – Gave the ball away too much, overall sloppy performance.

Levi Colwill: 6/10 – Solid, didn’t give Hojlund much to feed on.

Reece James: 8/10 – Great performance, defensively sound.

Moises Caicedo: 9/10 – Exceptional at the heart of midfield and scored a stunning volley.
