Mikel Obi reunites with Jose Mourinho in Instanbul for “The Obi One Podcast”

The Chelsea legend reunited with his former manager Jose Mourinho

Mikel Obi linked up his former boss Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho in the Turkish capital, Instanbul for what looks like a recording for his podcast, “The Obi One Podcast”

The former Chelsea midfielder shared pictures of him exchanging pleasantries and sharing a laugh with Mourinho on Instagram.

Obi remains grateful to the Portuguese manager for giving him his great big break in his career.

He also maintained that they still maintain a very healthy relationship to date.

Mikel Obi played for Jose Mourinho between 2006 and 2007 at Chelsea and gave him his debut after dramatic transfer saga between the club, Manchester United and Lyn Oslo.

The 37-year-old won a Premier League and two League Cup titles under Jose Mourinho two stints at Chelsea.

While Jose Mourinho is still very active coaching, Mikel Obi has since retired and currently host a the “The Obi One Podcast” where he invites football personalities to discuss and share exclusive football stories.

Jose Mourinho currently manages Fenerbache in the Turkish Super League.
