Super Eagles winger Nathan Tella has committed his future to Bayer Leverkusen for the next half a decade.
The 26-year-old put pen to paper until 2031 on Tuesday morning extending his stay at the Bay Arena until 2031.
Tella joined Bayer Leverkusen in September 2023 and signed a five-year contract until 2028 but has now signed a three-year extension.
Bayer Leverkusen announced his contract extension in a series of posts across its social media pages.

The former Southampton forward expressed his excitement on signing a new contract and the direction the new squad is taking following the departure of former manager, Xabi Alonso.
“I feel incredibly comfortable at Bayer 04, and my first years here have been marked by fantastic successes,” says Tella. “It’s also very exciting to be part of the development of a new competitive team. I’m convinced that we’ll achieve our goals again in the coming years.”
Nathan Tella played a vital role in helping Bayer Leverkusen win its maiden German Bundesliga title as they ended the season unbeaten under Xabi Alonso.
Tella has spent most part of the season injured as he has only featured 16 times across all competitions.
