Al Hilal star, Neymar reassures fans following his recent injury scare.
The Brazilian was forced off the pitch on Monday during the AFC Champions League match against Esteghlal due to discomfort in the back of his left thigh.
He posted on his Instagram story afterwards:
“I felt like a cramp but very strong! I will do exams and hope it’s nothing more”.
“It’s normal for this to happen after 1 year, the doctors had already warned me, this is why I need to be careful and have more minutes to play”.
After a year-long absence due to an ACL and meniscus injury in his left leg, he made his comeback on October 21 against UAE’s Al-Ain. This was only his second appearance since returning.
Al Hilal coach, Jorge Jesus has stated that it is a muscle issue and he is expected to be out for at least two weeks.
