NFF welcomes Flamingos from FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup

The Nigeria Football Federation has officially welcomed the Flamingos, the U17 Women’s National Team from the Dominican Republic where they represented the country at the 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup finals.

Despite being eliminated by the United States of America in the quarterfinals, the girls fought hard and were well-received.

Following their tournament run being halted by a 0–2 loss to the USA in Santiago de los Caballeros, the Flamingos’ delegation arrived in Nigeria.
