Chizzy Ezenwata, a promising young football talent of Nigerian roots, has earned a scholarship deal with Premier League giants, Chelsea.
Ezenwata is one of 16 new scholars welcomed into the Chelsea Academy this summer. The striker joined the Blues from Charlton Athletic as an Under-15 and quickly made his mark, finishing last season as the club’s Under-18 top scorer.

The promising forward, who is eligible to represent Nigeria, England, and Cameroon, also made his debut for Chelsea’s Under-21 side in a Premier League 2 match against Manchester City.
He registered 12 goals and 4 assists across various youth competitions last season.
Ezenwata’s scholarship marks a significant milestone in his budding football career, placing him among a select group of young players offered a pathway to professional football by one of Europe’s most prestigious clubs.
Chelsea’s academy, renowned for producing top talents such as Reece James, Mason Mount, and Levi Colwill, is expected to provide Ezenwata with world-class coaching, education, and support both on and off the pitch.
