Rwanda, on the other hand, have made a strong start, sitting joint-top with South Africa and Benin on seven points. The Amavubi will be looking to capitalize on Nigeria’s struggles and secure a historic win.
Eric Chelle’s Team Selection
Chelle’s starting lineup will be crucial in determining the outcome of the match. The new Super Eagles boss has several options to consider, including opting for the 4-3-1-2 formation he used during his time as Mali boss, or switching to a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2.
Victor Osimhen, who has scored 26 goals for Galatasaray this season, will be eager to find the net for the first time in World Cup qualifying. He may be partnered by Ademola Lookman and Moses Simon in a front three.
