Several Nigerian players delivered impressive performances for their clubs across Europe over the weekend, scoring important goals and making key contributions in league matches.

Kelechi Iheanacho emerged the hero for Celtic after coming off the bench to score the winning goal in a crucial Scottish Premiership victory over Hibernian. The strike helped Celtic strengthen their position in the title race.

In Italy, Kingsley Ehizibue was among the standout performers as Udinese defeated Torino at home. Ehizibue scored the opening goal and was named Player of the Match. Fellow Nigerian Maduka Okoye also featured and kept a clean sheet in the victory.

Nathan Tella was in top form for Bayer Leverkusen in their important win over RB Leipzig. The winger scored one goal and provided an assist in a brilliant all-round display.

In the Czech Republic, Igoh Ogbu got on the scoresheet for Slavia Praha, opening the scoring with a close-range finish in their away victory over Slovan Liberec. Nigerian duo David Moses and Samuel Isife also featured in the match.

In England, 16-year-old Micah Olabiyi enjoyed a dream debut for Wycombe Wanderers. The teenager came off the bench to make his first League One appearance and scored the winner in their season-ending victory over Rotherham United.
