The City Ground was loud as hell at blast of the final whistle as Nottingham Forest put up another impressive performance to secure maximum points against Aston Villa.

The Tricky Trees came into the match on the back of a famous win over Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend.

However, Both sides struggled to impress in the first half as they battled to gain control of the game.

The visitors had the only real chance to score the first half.

Polish defender Matty Cash bent a dangerous ball from the edge of the box towards the far post but Matz Sels made a stunning save to deny him.

The first half ended barren with the home side slightly better in possession but without a shoot on target.
