Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has expressed his displeasure at the organisers of the Turkish Super League over his disallowed goal against Fenerbache.
Onuachu thought he had given Trabzonspor the lead in the 18th minute from a header on Sunday evening.
However, his goal – what would have been his third in five league matches, was ruled out by Emre Ergun for a foul in build up to the goal.
A video replay shows how Paul Onuachu’s elbow appeared to have hit former Inter Milan defender, Milan Skriniar in the face.
The match ended 1-0 in favour of Fenerbache courtesy of Youssef En Nesyri’s goal just before the first half break.
A visibly angry Onuachu labeled the referee’s decision”a disgrace” as he called out the Turkish League to do better.
Onuachu didn’t mince words as he walked past the press area after the match.
The result leaves Trabzonspor third on the log with 10 points from five matches while Fenerbache are second equal on points but with a better goal difference.
