Victor Osimhen bagged a brace to help Galatasaray win their 26th Turkish Super Lig title on Saturday night in Istanbul.

The Super Eagles striker scored twice in the second half to help Galatasaray survive Antalyaspor at Rams Park.

Galatasaray needed a win to secure the title in front of their home fans but went a goal down just before the break.

Soner Dikmen gave the visitors the lead with a header from a cross in added time of the first half to put the hosts under pressure in front of a packed to the brim RNs Park.

Mario Lemina, off a headed pass from Baris Alper Yilmaz restored parity for Galatasaray ten minutes into the second half.

Soner Dikmen put Antalyaspor back into the lead again with a free-kick two minutes after the hour mark.

However, the lead lasted a moment as Victor Osimhen converted a 66th-minute penalty to equalise.

Osimhen put Galatasaray ahead for the first time in the match as he narrowly escaped being offside to make the scoreline 3-2 in the 88th minute after a VAR review.

Kaan Ayhan came off the bench to add Galatasaray’s fourth as the Lions dramatically secured their 26th title with a game to spare.

Victor Osimhen has now lead Galatasaray to consecutive league titles since his arrival last season.
