Paul Onuachu’s brilliant goal for his former club Trabzonspor against Konyaspor in the Turkish Super League has been nominated for the FIFA Puskàs award.
The FIFA Puskàs Award celebrates the best goal scored either at club or national level in the year under review.
Onuachu sumptuous strike came on the 85th minute, a flying backheel in the box which secured the winner for the home side.

Onuachu currently plays for Southampton in the English Premier League but will look to win the award over the other nominees.
On the flipside Super Falcons striker Assist Oshoala also got nominated for the FIFA Marta Award – the equivalent of the Puskàs.
The award will be decided by votes on the FIFA website
