PL nominees for Goal and Coach of the Month revealed

The Premier League has unveiled the nominees for the December 2024 Goal of the Month and Manager of the Month awards, celebrating outstanding performances that captivated fans during the festive period.

Goal of the Month Nominees

Eight exceptional strikes have been shortlisted for the December 2024 Goal of the Month award.

For Goal of the Month, the shortlist includes Amad Diallo’s derby winner for United against Man City, Cole Palmer’s solo strike for Chelsea against Fulham, Matheus Cunha’s direct corner goal against Man United and Chris Wood’s goal against Everton.

Other nominees include Tariq Lamptey who was nominated twice for his goals against Leicester and Aston Villa, Alexander Isak’s clinical finish against Liverpool, and Enes Unal brilliant free-kick against West Ham.

Fans can watch these spectacular goals and cast their votes on the Premier League’s official website.

Manager of the Month Nominees

Four managers have been recognized for their exceptional leadership in December 2024:

1. Nuno Espirito Santo (Nottingham Forest)

Guided Forest to five wins out of six matches, propelling them to second place in the Premier League for the first time since 1994.

2. Eddie Howe (Newcastle United)

Led Newcastle to four victories, all with clean sheets, moving the team up to fifth place and reviving their European ambitions.

3. Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth)

Oversaw a significant improvement in Bournemouth’s form, steering them away from the relegation zone with crucial wins.

4. Arne Slot (Liverpool)

Maintained Liverpool’s lead at the top of the table, with the team scoring 21 goals across six matches, including a dominant performance against Tottenham Hotspur.

Supporters are encouraged to participate in the voting process for both awards, with winners set to be announced in the coming days.
