Liverpool maintained their blistering start to the season, earning their ninth win from 10 games with a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Diogo Jota’s ninth-minute goal sealed the win, sending the Reds into the international break top of the table.

Arne Slot’s side now lead the way, with Manchester City and Arsenal trailing by just a point. Pep Guardiola’s men kept pace with a thrilling 3-2 win over Fulham.

Mateo Kovacic’s double helped City overcome Andreas Pereira’s 26th-minute opener for Fulham. Jeremy Doku extended City’s lead in the 82nd before Rodrigo Muniz’s late strike set up a tense finish.

Arsenal also kept pace, defeating Southampton 3-1 to remain third, thanks to a virtuoso display from Bukayo Saka. Elsewhere, the Premier League’s goal-filled afternoon continued as Brentford edged Wolves 5-3 in a wild encounter at the GTech Community Stadium.

West Ham finally found their footing with a convincing 4-1 win over Ipswich, easing pressure on manager Julen Lopetegui. Newcastle, meanwhile, was held to a 0-0 draw at Everton, as Anthony Gordon saw his 35th-minute penalty saved by Jordan Pickford, maintaining the Toffees’ unbeaten run in their last four games.
