Reigning European champions Paris Saint-Germain started their title defense on a fantastic note as they brushed Atalanta aside at the Parc Des Princes on Wednesday night.
PSG were more than a handful for Ivan Juric’s men in both halves of the match as they succumbed to comprehensive a 4-nil thrashing.
Club captain Marquinhos and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored in the first half to give Luiz Enrique’s men a comfortable lead despite Bradley Barcola’s missed penalty just before the break.

Van Dijk’s late winner breaks Atleti’s hearts

Virgil Van Dijk header from Dominik Szoboszlai’s corner kick in added time gave Liverpool the win over Atletico Madrid at Anfield.

The French striker bagged a brace to help Inter Milan breeze past 1994 champions Ajax Amsterdam.
Thuram scored late a few minutes before the end of the first half and into the second half to secure maximum points for the visitors.
