Liverpool’s young star, Rio Ngumoha, has signed his first professional contract with the reigning Premier League Champions.

Ngumoha joined the Reds from Chelsea Academy after scoring a goal in the 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the  U17 Premier League Cup final in April 2024.

Rio Ngumoha burst onto the scene with a dramatic 100th-minute winner in a thrilling 3-2 victory at Newcastle United last month, marking his Premier League debut in style.
Just weeks later, the England U19 star stepped onto the European stage, coming off the bench in a Champions League triumph against Atletico Madrid at Anfield.
Ngumoha has been consistent for Liverpool’s U18s, U19s, and U21s, prompting Arne Slot to give him his senior debut in an FA Cup clash against Accrington Stanley in January.
So far, the young talent has made five senior appearances for Liverpool, with his latest outing in Tuesday’s 2-1 Carabao Cup victory over Southampton.
