Manchester United’s manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed that Marcus Rashford will be available for selection when the Red Devils welcome Bournemouth on Sunday.
The Portuguese manager confirmed that the 27-year-old will make the squad list as Manchester United look to bounce back from the defeat to Tottenham in the EFL Cup on Thursday.
Marcus Rashford has not featured for the Red Devils in the last two games due to performance-related reasons.
The 27-year-old missed out of the team’s Manchester Derby victory at the Etihad on Sunday and the dramatic 4-3 loss to Tottenham in the EFL Cup.
Amorim had earlier confirmed that Rashford missed the clash away at Tottenham due to illness.
“Of course Rashford is available for Sunday”, says Amorim in a press briefing ahead of the match.
On the flipside, Rashford has hinted his desire to leave the club sooner than later as speculations on his future at Old Trafford continue to gain momentum.
Rashford told veteran journalist, Henry Winter on desire to take on a new challenge after he visited his primary school after Manchester United’s derby win at the Etihad on Sunday.
