Saka outstanding in Arsenal’s seven goals thriller at Westham

Bukayo Saka was the most outstanding player as Arsenal brushed Westham aside in a seven-goal thriller at the London Stadium on Saturday.

The English forward came into the match off a fantastic display in Arsenal’s 5-1 demolition of Sporting Lisbon in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

Saka continued his brilliant run of form in recent games at the home side as he provided two assists and goal in Arsenal’s 5-2 win.

Arsenal too the lead as early as the seventh minute. Gabriel Magalhāes met Bukayo Saka’s cross cornerkick into the box with a header – his second in two games.

Bukayo Saka’s passes was tearing through Westham’s defense with ease a d this time Leandro Trossard tapped the ball into an empty net to double Arsenal’s lead.

Martin Ordegaard extended Arsenal’s lead from the penalty spot after Lucas Paqueta’s foul on the box.

Saka rounded off his fantastic performance on added time of the first half as he converted from the spot kick to five Arsenal a 5-0 lead at half time.

Raheem Sterling from the touchline applauded Saka as he walked majestically to make way for him on the 74th minute.

Bukayo now has 10 assists in 12 league games – the most by any player in Europe’s “big five” leagues season so far.
