Manchester United’s win over Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday evening has attracted reactions from popular figures in the sports and entertainment industry.

Matheus Cunha’s sublime strike three minutes from time have the Red Devils an unexpected win over the league leaders.

The win ended Arsenal’s record of always winning when they score first as they suffered their first loss after 26 matches.

Super Falcons legendary striker, Asisat Oshoala took to her X page to react to the victory as she asked Matheus Cunha to send her his bank account.

Afrobeat star, “Buju Bnxn”, a known Manchester United fan also shared his excitement with a love emoji on X after the 3-2 win.

Adekunle Gold, the “fuji” crooner also praised Michael Carrick as his interim role as Manchester United saw the team record back-to-back wins.

Popular video director, TG Omori had earlier predicted a win for Manchester United hours before the tie in a personalised version of the “Lord’s Prayer.”

He later went on to post a fresh tweet after the win in celebration of his “anwered prayer.”

The Premier League title race remains open after Arsenal’s loss even though the Gunners lead the log with 50 points, four more than Manchester City and Arsenal.

For Manchester United, the resurgence under Michael Carrick continues as they remain fourth on the log with 38 points.
