Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Raphael Onyedika was the creator in chief as Club Brugge recorded an away victory in the Champions League.

Onyedika was instrumental in helping Club Brugge defeat Austrian team Sturm Graz 1-0 on the road on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League.

Onyedika bags assist for Club Brugge

In the twenty-third minute, Onyedika set up Christos Tzolis for the game’s lone strike which turned out to be the game-winning goal.

With his team’s first victory in the competition, the 23-year-old proved his worth once more with a crucial assist.

Club Brugge secured a vital victory in their Champions League campaign thanks to his astute play and vision from the center of the field.

Due to his strong defensive play and skillful ball distribution, Onyedika was key to the victory.

Onyedika played the entire ninety minutes of the game on Wednesday night, making 69 touches and finishing 52 of his 58 passes attempted.

Onyedika who was just crowned Club Brugge’s Player of the Month for September was solid and continues to attract interest from the top clubs in Europe.
