Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have set their sights on KRC Genk’s prolific striker Tolu Arokodare, joining a growing list of clubs vying for his signature.
The 24-year-old Nigerian has been a standout in the Belgian Pro League this season, topping the scoring charts with an impressive 22 goals and seven assists for the Smurfs.

Arokodare’s red-hot form has also drawn interest from clubs in England and Turkey. Last summer, he nearly joined Turkish Super Lig giants Trabzonspor, but Genk’s manager Thorsten Fink persuaded him to stay at the Cegeka Arena.
According to Transfermarkt, Dortmund have now earmarked Arokodare as a key transfer target for the 2025/26 season, aiming to bolster their attacking options.
With his contract running until 2027, Genk are open to selling their talismanic striker, provided a substantial offer meets their valuation.
Arokodare recently won the 2025 Ebony Shoe award, which recognises the best player of African descent in the Belgian League.
