Former Germany international, Toni Kroos has issued a clarification regarding reports that he is coaching within Real Madrid’s academy setup.
The retired midfielder corrected a recent post that suggested he was working directly with the club’s youth system.
Kroos explained that he is not coaching at the Real Madrid Academy, but rather at his own institution — the Toni Kroos Academy, which is based in Madrid. According to him, only the location and his involvement in youth development were correct in the original post, while the association with Real Madrid’s academy was inaccurate.
The Toni Kroos Academy focuses on nurturing young talent through specialized training programs and development pathways.
While Kroos maintains close ties with Real Madrid, where he ended his illustrious career, his post-retirement coaching efforts are currently independent of the club’s official youth system.
The clarification comes amid widespread interest in Kroos’ next steps after retiring from professional football earlier this year. His academy has quickly gained attention as he transitions into mentoring and youth development on his own terms.
