Very poor performance! Nigerians blast coach Madugu, Super Falcons after scrappy win over Botswana

Nigeria football fans have expressed his displeasures after the Super Falcons struggled to beat Botswana in their second group match at the ongoing Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The nine-time African champions picked up a labored win over the Southern African nation on Thursday evening.

Chiwendu Ihezuo for the second time in the competition, came on as a second substitute scored an 89th minute goal to seal the win.

However, Nigerians have taken to social media to express their disappointment at the performance of the Super Falcons on the night and so far in the tournament.

1. Alfa Orga

While we celebrate the Super Falcons’ win, let’s not overlook the subpar performance. Our team’s display was well below our usual standard, struggling to string together even five consecutive passes. Our performance was poor. We can’t win Bayana Bayana

Poor coaching from the Nigerian bench. Oshoala and Payne have no business in that team. Playing Ajibade as 10 is very wrong in the 1st half. Ihezuo, Esther and Echegini deserve to start. Poor starting 11. We dont have a coach.

3. Muyen

That coach benched Echigini who brought life into that match. I hope he learns from this game.

4. Banky G

This coach benching PSG’s best midfielder should be jailed. Na only to squeeze face he sabi, no tactics inside that head.

5. Amanwithaname

The two matches Super Falcon have played are not impressive at all, the players aren’t playing for eachother, their pressing is really poor, they don’t look sharp, a lot of things are lacking.

6. Bamidele Adeniyi

The pair of Esther Okoronkwo and Ihezuo brought life into the attack, the right flank still needs to be looked into. Echejini brought flair and poise to the midfield. Alozie also needs to double down the flank. They should train more on quick probing passes instead of long balls.

7. Cylodeman

Please tell that coach who clearly doesn’t know his left from right that his best player is okoronkwo and should always start the combo of okoronkwo and ihezuo. Asisat is finished, by the way. No coach who knows his onions will select her at this stage.

8. Ifeanyi

This super falcons team lack basic football coaching. Is this not the same team that went to the World Cup and Olympic? Dey no go pass semi final I hope prove me wrong. Local coaches are better indeed 😀

9. Lucky

We dug deep with rubbish football and fluke goal,we can’t even string passes together, all we do is hoof the ball like we are playing basketball,no coordination,no pattern,we are all over the place tackling ourselves our football na just vibes and inshallah 🤣😁😂 abegi shift.

10. Winning Goal

Nigeria is not going far in this competition with this eyesore performance
That coach is useléss
No tactics
No game play
Just long balls and insha’Allah ❌🚮

11. Arne Slot

Ajibade needs to sit on the bench. I don’t know why the coach keeps substituting Rinsola everytime at half time. What’s Ajibade doing on the field.
