England cruised into the quarter-finals of UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 with a dominant 6–1 win over Wales in St Gallen.
Goals from Georgia Stanway, Ella Toone, Lauren Hemp, Alessia Russo, Beth Mead, and Aggie Beever-Jones sealed the result as Sarina Wiegman’s side finished second in Group D.

Wales, already eliminated, earned a consolation goal through Hannah Cain — their first-ever at a major tournament.
In the other Group D match, France came from behind to beat the Netherlands 5–2 in Basel, maintaining a perfect group stage record.

Despite trailing 2–1 at halftime, France turned the game around with goals from Marie-Antoinette Katoto, Delphine Cascarino (2), and Sakina Karchaoui.
The Netherlands crashed out, while France progressed as group winners to face Germany in the quarter-finals. England will meet Sweden next.
