Joel Embiid made a triumphant return to the court, leading the Philadelphia 76ers to a 108-100 win over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.
Embiid, who had been sidelined for seven games due to a left knee injury and personal reasons, scored 31 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in 33 minutes.
The Cameroonian-born big man, who wore a left knee brace, also added four assists and two blocked shots. His return sparked the 76ers, who went 4-3 in his absence.

Stephen Curry, Buddy Hield, and Jonathan Kuminga combined for 77 points to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 114-106 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Curry finished with a game-high 30 points, Hield went for 27, and Kuminga added 20.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 34 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 118-113 comeback win over the Brooklyn Nets in New York.
Nikola Jokic scored 48 points to guide the Denver Nuggets to a 141-111 win over the Atlanta Hawks, ending the Hawks’ six-game winning streak. Jokic went 17-for-29 from the field and added 14 rebounds and eight assists.
