In a recent interview, Nigerian international and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman expressed his admiration for former Chelsea and Real Madrid star, Eden Hazard.
Lookman is the reigning African Footballer of the Year after winning the award at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco, on December 16, 2024 crowning a remarkable season for Atalanta and Nigeria.
In a video by Goal during the Ballon D’Or ceremony., when asked about his footballing idol, Lookman responded, “Of course, Eden Hazard.”
Lookman, who has been a standout performer for Atalanta this season, highlighted Hazard’s exceptional dribbling skills and creativity as qualities he aspires to emulate. He noted, “I love the way he plays, his dribbling, his creativity. I try to learn from him.”
Hazard, who enjoyed a successful tenure at Chelsea from 2012 to 2019, is renowned for his flair and technical prowess. His influence on the pitch has left a lasting impression on many young talents, including Lookman.
