Boxing legend, Tyson Fury is set to co-manage the England team alongside Wayne Rooney in the upcoming Soccer Aid for UNICEF charity match, scheduled for June 15, 2025, at Manchester’s Old Trafford stadium.

This event marks Fury’s first major public appearance since his retirement from boxing earlier this year. Expressing his enthusiasm, Fury remarked, “I have had some big fights in my career and the prospect of leading my England team to victory this June fills me with just as much excitement as any heavyweight fight!”

Wayne Rooney, who will also come out of retirement to play in the match, shared his excitement about partnering with Fury. He stated, “I’m a big boxing fan, so to do it alongside Tyson Fury is fantastic.”

The England squad will feature a mix of former football professionals and celebrities, including Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Joe Hart, Steph Houghton, Toni Duggan, Jill Scott, Louis Tomlinson, Sir Mo Farah, and Paddy McGuinness.
