Real Madrid’s pursuit of Bournemouth centre-back Dean Huijsen is reportedly a “done deal” in Spain. The 20-year-old defender has impressed in the Premier League, earning his senior Spain debut in March.
Huijsen’s £50 million release clause can be paid in three instalments, and Madrid are now very close to securing his services and adding him to Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Several top clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich, had expressed interest, but Huijsen is said to have rejected seven other concrete offers.
According to reports, documents are being exchanged between Real Madrid and Bournemouth, with only an official signing required to complete the transfer.
If Los Blancos wrap things up quickly, Huijsen can be registered during FIFA’s exceptional mini-transfer window and will be eligible to play from the start of the Club World Cup.
This potential signing would be a significant coup for the Spanish giants, strengthening their defense ahead of the new season.
