Out-of-favour Manchester United winger, Jadon Sancho has fueled speculation about a romance with American rapper Saweetie after being spotted with what appears to be a very personal tattoo.
The pair visited The Apollo Tattoo & Piercing Studio in Santa Monica earlier this summer, where Sancho had the word “Qiava” — Saweetie’s middle name — inked behind his left ear. Witnesses claimed the two shared kisses and displayed plenty of affection inside the shop, further intensifying rumors of a relationship.
Saweetie, whose full name is Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, has not commented publicly on the incident, nor has Sancho, but fans were quick to note the significance of the tattoo. Some also spotted that the spelling omits one “i” from her actual middle name.
Adding to the intrigue, Sancho reportedly covered a previous tattoo on his hand that read “her only,” replacing it with a flower design, a move many interpreted as closing a past chapter.
This is not the first time the two have sparked dating rumors. Back in May, Sancho’s phone lockscreen was photographed showing a black-and-white image of Saweetie, and earlier this year, the rapper made an unexpected appearance at Stamford Bridge, where she was seen embracing him pitchside.
While neither party has confirmed the nature of their relationship, the tattoo and public moments together have left many convinced that the connection goes beyond friendship.
