Newcastle United have reportedly reached an agreement to sign German forward Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart.
The deal is reportedly worth an initial fee of €75 million and a further €5 million in potential add-ons, which could pave the way for a dramatic transfer twist involving Alexander Isak.

Woltemade, 23, have been a standout for Stuttgart, scoring 17 goals last season and topping the charts at the European U-21 Championship.
The Magpies’ successful bid has come after Bayern Munich had three offers for the striker rejected, showing the striker’s huge reputation in Germany.
This move has significant implications given the ongoing saga surrounding Alexander Isak’s future.

The Swedish striker has not featured so far this season after making a social media statement claiming “promises” had been “broken” by the club.
Liverpool previously had a £110 million bid for the striker rebuffed, but Newcastle’s acquisition of a top-tier replacement could now open the door for Isak’s long-desired move.
