‘We are not going back!’ – Nicolas Jackson’s agent blows hot

The transfer saga surrounding Nicolas Jackson has taken a dramatic turn after Chelsea blocked the striker’s proposed loan move to Bayern Munich, prompting a fiery response from the player’s camp.

Jackson had already travelled to Munich and was preparing for his medical when Chelsea abruptly pulled out of the deal.

The Blues, who had agreed to a season-long loan with an option to buy for over €65 million, reversed course after Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury during their 2–0 win over Fulham. With Delap now ruled out for up to two months, Chelsea decided they could not afford to lose another striker.

But the Senegal international and his representatives have reacted furiously. Jackson’s agent, Diomansy Kamara, posted a defiant message on Instagram reading: “We’re not going back. The plane doesn’t go backwards… Munich.”

Jackson and his representatives at Munich earlier today to finalise his loan move to Bayern.

The statement makes clear their intention to resist Chelsea’s recall and push for the Bayern move to be completed.

Sources close to the player suggest Jackson is deeply frustrated, feeling misled by Chelsea after personal terms were agreed with Bayern. Reports indicate he is “angry” and reluctant to return to London, having already committed mentally to the Bundesliga giants.

Bayern sporting director Max Eberl acknowledged the uncertainty but insisted the club is still hopeful: “Jackson is here. In football, things change quickly—let’s see what happens after the game.”

As of tonight, the standoff remains unresolved: Chelsea want their striker back, Bayern want to finalise the deal, and Jackson’s camp insists there is no way back to Stamford Bridge.
