Rangers F.C. defender Emmanuel Fernandez has been voted the club’s Player of the Season following an outstanding first year at Ibrox.
Fernandez secured the highest number of votes from supporters after delivering a series of commanding performances throughout the campaign.
The 24-year-old joined Rangers from Peterborough United F.C. last summer and quickly became one of the most important figures in the squad.
The centre-back impressed with his defensive solidity, aerial strength and impact during set-piece situations, contributing five league goals in 23 appearances for the Light Blues.
His strong form was also recognised across the league, as he was the only Rangers player selected in the Scottish Premiership Team of the Season.
The award caps a remarkable debut season for Fernandez, who has quickly become a fan favourite and key part of Rangers’ future plans.
