We can win the league! – Manchester United midfielder boasts

Manchester United’s midfielder has revealed that the semis capable of winning the Premier League title.

The 27-year-old midfielder said winning the league title might appear be a stretch at the moment but the team must imbibe a strong mentality to emerge champions.

Mason Mount added that the team has proven themselves against the top teams in the league this season with impressive results against Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Mount said he’s looking forward to winning the Premier League with Manchester United having won the Champions League with Chelsea.

“I have a goal of WINNING the #PL. I’ve won the #UCL already, but can we do that? Yes, I think we CAN as a group.

“It may seem a little bit far away, but you have to have that mentality to really push yourself as a group. We’ve SHOWN what we can do against the big teams already this season: Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal.

“It’s about now doing it on a bigger stage in the Champions League and doing it more consistently in the Premier League.

“Hopefully, I can be a MASSIVE part of that moving forward next season. Yeah, it’s a goal. I want to win the Premier League.”

Manchester United turned their season around with the interim appointment of former midfielder and veteran of the club, Michael Carrick.

The former midfielder has won nine of 13 Premier League games he has managed since his appointment in January.
