A light-hearted moment from Super Falcons training has captured the hearts of Nigerian football fans online after a determined young supporter went to great lengths to get star defender Michelle Alozie’s attention.
In a video circulating widely on social media, the fan repeatedly calls out to the Chicago Stars and Nigeria international during a recovery session following the team’s 2-0 first-leg victory over Comoros in the 2028 Olympic qualifiers.
“Alozie, abeg look back o!” he shouts with growing enthusiasm, later adding declarations of admiration including “I love you, mama!” as he tries to catch her eye for a selfie or a simple acknowledgement.
Alozie, who scored the opening goal in the 48th minute of Friday’s win at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, is seen sitting and stretching with teammates in the Super Falcons’ grey training kit. She eventually reacts with a smile as the fan’s persistence draws laughter from those around the pitch.
The clip, shared by accounts including Lika football tv, Ademola Sports Tv and @Cleverlydey4u, has drawn thousands of views and positive reactions, with fans praising both the supporter’s enthusiasm and Alozie’s approachable demeanour.
The Super Falcons are currently in camp preparing for the return leg against Comoros, scheduled for Tuesday. The side holds a comfortable 2-0 advantage after goals from Alozie and Uchenna Kanu in the first leg under interim coach Augustine Eguavoen.
