Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman has earned a nomination for Atalanta’s Goal of the Season award.
Lookman’s stunning strikes in a 3-2 loss to Real Madrid and a 5-0 rout of Empoli secured his spot on the shortlist.

The 27-year-old rifled a shot past Thibaut Courtois for Atalanta’s second goal against Real Madrid, while his Empoli goal showcased finesse, as he latched onto a pinpoint pass from Mateo Retegui, rounded the goalkeeper, and slotted the ball into an open net.
The former Leicester City star was named Man of the Match in both fixtures, underlining his impact.
Last season, Lookman shone brightly for Atalanta, racking up 22 goals and five assists in 46 appearances across all competitions, cementing his status as a key figure for La Dea.
Meanwhile, Lookman has been linked with a move to Barcelona, according to reports. The 28-year-old has one year left on his contract with Bergamo, and an exit could be the best option for everyone.
