Ademola Lookman seals victory for Atalanta at Parma

Ademola Lookaman bagged his 7th league goal of the season in Atalanta’s impressive win over Parma on Saturday night.

The had another fantastic performance as Atalanta secured a 3-1 win over Parma away from home.

Lookman led Atalanta’s attack alongside Mateo Retegui and almost bagged a brace in the match.

The 27-year-old forward found the back of the net after Retegui’s opener inside five minutes.

However, his low drive into the back of the net was ruled as offside after he was played on by Mario Pasalic.

The Super Eagles forward came close at scoring again just but his header went narrowly off target.

Lookman

Brazilian midfielder Ederson doubled the lead for Atalanta a few minutes before halftime.

The midfielder tapped the ball into an empty from Mateo Retegui’s square ball.

The home side halved the deficit after four minutes into the second half via Matteo Cancellieri’s brilliant solo effort.

While the home side looked to equalize, Lookman dashed their hopes with his 7th league goal of the season.

The Nigerian forward smashed the ball into the net after he received a square pass from the right flank into the box.

Ademola Lookman has 9 goals and 5 assists in 14 matches for Atalanta so far this season.
