Slot confirmed that attacking duo Hugo Ekitike and Federico Chiesa are set to return to training and may be available for the Premier League clash.
Ekitike limped off during the Reds’ 1-0 defeat to Galatasaray in midweek, while Chiesa did not even make the squad for the trip to Turkey.

However, the team will be without Alisson Becker. The world-class goalkeeper is set for an extended layoff after suffering a hamstring injury.
Speaking to the media on Friday morning, Slot revealed: “Ekitike and Chiesa will be back in training today… Alisson will be out for some time.”
The manager gave a cautious timeline for the Brazilian’s return, confirming he will miss the international break and likely the match that follows.
“I’d be surprised if Alisson’s ready for the first game after international break.”
Liverpool will be aiming to get their season back on track after consecutive defeats.
