Super Falcons striker, Rinsola Babajide found the net for Tenerife Women as they left it late to salvage a point against Atletico Madrid Women.
The match started with equally and balanced between two teams. Tenerife applied constant pressure and it bore fruit as Babajide stole the ball inside Atlético de Madrid’s area and perfectly put the ball into the net to make it 1-0 to the hosts. The first half ended with the hosts having the advantage.
Atletico levelled the scores just 7 minutes into second half through Sheilla Guijarro who headed home a Fiamma Ianuzzi corner. Another header from Silvia Lloris from inside the area in the 85th minute turned the score around in favour of the visitors.
The hosts fought back whem a loose ball inside the area was caught in extra time by Mari José to ensure the points are shared.
Babajide has now scored four goals in 10 appearances for Tenerife who sit sixth on the Liga F table with 17 points.
