The Super Eagles of Nigeria have sealed qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Austin Eguavoen’s men drew 1-1 against Benin Republic, but passage to next year’s AFCON was already confirmed after Libya defeated Rwanda.

Following the result, Bundesliga champions, Bayer Leverkusen congratulated star man Victor Boniface for booking a spot at the AFCON finals.
Leverkusen celebrated the Super Eagles and their forward through a short message on social media.
“Congratulations to @NGSuperEagles and @boniface_jrn on qualifying for #AFCON2025! ,” Die Werkself wrote on X.
The Super Eagles will face the Amavubi of Rwanda in their final qualifying game next Monday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
