Chelsea and AC Milan have reached a verbal agreement for the signing of French striker Christopher Nkunku.
The 27-year-old striker is set to sign a five-year deal with AC Milan after a two-year stint at Chelsea.
Christopher Nkunku joins the Rossoneri days after the club walked away from signing Super Eagles striker Boniface, due to doctors’ advice following his medical examinations.
The deal is set to be in the region of €35 million, but could rise to €42 million with add-ons.
Nkunku will travel to Milan in the days ahead to undergo his medical examination before signing a five-year deal with AC Milan.
The French forward scored 18goals in 62 appearances for Chelsea over two seasons, plagued with a couple of periods on the sidelines.
However, Christopher Nkunku hopes to stay fit as he joins his third club after making his professional debut at PSG in 2015, aged 18.
