Former Super Falcons hear coach Thomas Dennerby has reveled that he still cares about the team seven years after his resignation.
The Swedish coach lead the Super Falcons to the Super Falcons to the second round of the FIFA World Cupbin 2019 after winning the WAFCON a year before.
Dennerby cited owed wages, lack of cooperation, decent accommodation contributed to a why a left his role before tye end of his contract.
However, Thomas Dennerby on a recent chat with AllNigeriaScoccer revealed that the Super Falcons remain close to his heart.
When asked if he still gas interest in the job, Dennerby said: “The only thing I can say is that I always have the Super Falcons close to my heart”.
His comments come at a time when the Nigeria Football Federation is in search for coach for the Super Falcons after the sack of Justin Madugu and his technical crew following the disastrous outing at the 2026 WAFCON.
Madugu led the team to a historic 10th time last summer but fell short drastically as he team missed out on qualifying for the World Cup for the first time since inception in 1991.
