Both sides recorded important wins in their final group matches over River Plate and Urawa Reds on Thursday afternoon.

On the other hand, Monterrey didn’t break a sweat to breeze past Japanese side Urawa Reds unlike Inter.
26-year-old striker German Beterame scored twice, while Nelson Deosa and Jesus Corona got on the scoresheet in a convincing 4-0 win.
Inter will take on Fluminense while Monterrey tackle Borussia Dortmund in the round of sixteen.
