Victor Osimhen has reportedly told his Super Eagles teammate Ademola Lookman to consider joining him at Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray.

Osimhen who has become a household name at Galatasaray after leading them to consecutive league titles is asking Lookman to join the “family”.

The 27-year-old striker reportedly said, “We are waiting for you at Galatasaray. Come and be a part of this family,” via a Turkish outlet, Habersarikirmizi.

Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman has settled in at Atletico Madrid since he arrived at the club from Atalanta in February.

The forward scored nine goals and provided four assists in 24 appearances across all competitions for the Rojiblancos.

Despite his impressive performance over the last few months, speculation about his future remains, with reports linking him to a move to Turkey.

However, Atletico Madrid are not likely to sanction a transfer move for Lookman considering Barcelona have shown keen interest in Julian Alvarez with a €100m bid submitted but rejected.

Should Lookman join Galatasaray, the Turkish champions will be in pole position to win the league for the third time in a row and it will boost the Lions’ chances of reaching the latter stages of the Champions League.
