Nigeria’s senior women’s basketball team, DTigress, have unveiled their final roster for the 2025 Women’s AfroBasket Championship in Côte D’Ivoire.

Captain of the team Amy Okonkwo leads 11 other superstars to the championship as they look to create history in women’s basketball in Africa.

The DTigress are defending champions and are on course to win a fifth consecutive championship, and coach Rena Wakama has named a strong squad to achieve the monumental feat.

Rena Wakama led DTigress to their fourth title in a row two years ago with an 84-74 win over Senegal.

Nigeria are grouped alongside Rwanda and Mozambique in Group D of the competition.
